We really enjoyed the Tapatio Cliffs Resort! If arriving at night, be patient, the signs to the lobby are small and hard to see at night. Once in the lobby, the service was excellent! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Our King Suite room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. The pools are amazing and the landscaping immaculate. Room was very quite. Would definitely recommend this resort and intend to stay there again!

The view from the room was amazing and the pools where so nice. At the time i was 3 months pregnant and I took my 5 year old for a just the two of us get-a-way and she had a blast she loved it and she cant wait to go back. A couple things i wish i would have known before hand ... 1; the water in the room was $* each and for the water that they bring up it was $*for a small;16 oz; and $* for a large. So i would have brought my own if i knew. 2; We got a awesome view yes, but we had to come down a very steep hill to get to the main pool and when we got to the parking lot, witch was steep as well, it was covered in sand and my girl fell down it and skinned up her knee. When i told the front desk about the sand i said it would be safer if they just swept up the sand. They didn't do anything about it. So next time we go and i have the kids i will say in the main hotel i wont trade safety for a view. Over all it we had a wonderful time and I am hoping to bring the whole family back soon, with a case of water and good non-skid shoes in hand!

If you prefer a debit card over a credit card, be prepared to either have $* per day taken out of your account for ammenities or to put up a minimum of $*cash as a deposit. The hotel is nice and the staff was friendly, but their policies will nickle & dime you to death. Internet fee is $* daily, phone fee is a dollar a day plus ten cents a minute, you must pay extra for use of the workout area. Weekend newspaper fee. My wife spent $* at the spa and the lady at the spa told her not to pay for it there but to charge it to the room. Otherwise Hilton Honors credit would not apply. This created a confusing situation. The hotel turned our phone off and locked us out of the room even after we called and asked if we should come and pay for the spa charges. We went and paid the charges immediately. When we got back that night we were locked out and had to call for someone to come and let us in the room. Our phone was never turned back on. Parking is a real problem on the weekend. Many people had to park on hillside spaces and either walk a good way up hills to rooms or wait for a shuttle. If you are expecting Hilton honors credit, you can forget it if you book your room through web or some other third party. Resort restaurants are very nice but expensive. The resort is nice, but I hate surprises. Maybe this info will help you avoid frustration by knowing these details up front.

We stayed for one night. We loved the location on the hill. You can access some nice desert hiking trails from the grounds. They have numerous pools and the water slide is fun. The buildings are older but well kept. It was nice having a two room suite. The concierge was very helpful. They do try to nickel and dime you by charging for everything (including internet access), but we had a great rate.
