This was a great hotel. When I got married I paid $* for a hotel in Scottsdale. I paid half for this hotel an it was by far better. This is a hotel that I would recomend to stay. Great decor and great staff. It is downtown in walking distance to many attractions. Also, you are just one block away from the light rail. The light rail goes to Tempe, AZ and Mesa, AZ. This hotel is a must stay!!

The room was nice and clean. The accommodations were good and the staff was very friendly. There was nothing out of place and we always had new bar of soap and shampoo. The food in the restaurant was good and not to badly priced.

The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice. Bedroom looked just like the pictures, spacious bathroom and comfortable tub. Would have been nice to know that the only parking in the area is a parking garage located at the hotel that costs an additional $*/per night and is valet, and even during the peak hours there is only one attendant there. You are given a number to call them so by the time you get to the lobby your car will be waiting, but I sat on the phone for 5 minutes with no answer. I finally just decided to walk to a restaurant. Room service is the normal pricey hotel fare w/ a $* delivery fee and an additional *% added cost to your total bill. There are several restaurants located around the hotel in walking distance that have great food. It's also located relatively close to a variety of entertainment venues (art museum, several theaters, etc))

I booked the Wyndham due to the Hyatt and Sheraton being sold out. My employer kept pushing the negotiated rates at these hotels. The Wyndham's regular rate was equivalent. It is just as nice, and actually closer to the office. I was able to check in early, in spite of not being a preferred member.
