This place did not offer anything special. The staff at the front desk was friendly. We were put in a room where maintenance was being done on the sidewalk that leads to our room. We should have been put in a different area of the hotel, since the hotel was not full. The bell service might as well not exist. There is no service offered here. There are just a few guys who stand around and don't offer any help. Internet service can only be obtained in the lobby unless you want to pY $* + per day. Pools were not always clean. The lazy river and pool area was not well staffed. Service at the pool so slow it could almost be considered non existent. The water temperature was not cooled to be considered refreshing in hot weather. Rules around the pool were not enforced, someday someone will get hurt and a lawsuit will be the only thing to get more staff at the pool area or close it down completely. The restaurants here were very good. Service was good and food was excellent. The rooms were nice, beds not nearly as great and comfortable as the Hilton organization thinks that they are. Just an OK place to go. We got a good deal on the vacation, and we got just barely what we paid for, nothing more.

We were put in a hotel room that had the walkways closed off the first 3 days due to construction being done on the railing. When questioning the front desk why we were not put in a different room when we checked in, all I was told was that they could move us now. The hotel was never full during our week we were there. I told them we should have been offered a different at the beginning. The rooms were clean. Staff was friendly, but not very available. The Hilton charges for everything. Not even coffee or water available in lobby for guests. The bellman might as well not even be there. Not one finger lifted to help guests. The pool was not cold. The service at the pool was slow. I only saw one person going around taking orders. After order was place, we waited 20 minutes for our order. The restaurants were great. Service at the restaurants were good and friendly. Food was great and price reasonable. I would probably not bring my family back here or any Hilton for that matter. I think you get what you pay for. We got a good deal on this trip. We did not get high quality service. I do not think that the rating for Hilton is any higher than 3 stars or 3 happy faces.

My family selected this resort for their water park, Hole in the Wall River Ranch. We booked a bi-level casita and enjoyed the room and the hotel grounds. We were also excited to find that our casita had a small pool for the children to swim in when we were not at the River Ranch. The gym was nicely equipped with Precor equipment, and the spa services were excellent and nicely priced. After a 5 day stay, we returned home. Unfortunately, both my children and husband have been treated for ear infections within 24 hours of leaving the resort. When we contacted the hotel, we were simply told that maintenance would be notified. If you are booking this hotel for the water amenities, take caution under the water.

We traveled to Phoenix to visit my husband's grandmother. The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak was wonderful! It is the perfect hotel for families. Our suite was great, I have no complaints. Every staff member we came in contact with was wonderful. The staff at the concierge desk was extremely helpful. The food at the Hole In The Wall restaurant was a little pricey but very good. My children enjoyed the water park and the pool outside our hotel room. We had a great experience at this hotel. We would definitely stay here in the future.
